Admissions and FeesAdmission is from a waiting list, by age. The children are admitted from the age of 2½. The sessions are:
Morning Session - Monday to Friday 9.00am - 11.30am
Lunch Club - Monday to Thursday 11.30am - 12.30pm
Afternoon Session - Monday to Friday 12.30pm - 3.00pm
The Friday morning and afternoon sessions are only for children who will be starting school the following September. This session is called “Rising 5’s”.
There is a breakfast club facility that is run on the school site. If you are interested, please speak to the school office on 01435 862941.
At present we are registered for 30 children per session.
A non-refundable registration fee of £20.00 (£10.00 for reception children) is payable when registering a child for a place at pre-school and this includes a sweatshirt.
Our lunch club fee is £3.54 per day.
Our fees are set to be in line with the Early Years Education Entitlement and at the moment they are £8.85 per session per child. Should the Nursery Education Grant increase we will increase our fees the following term so that we stay in line with the grant.
We must stress that although we are on the Cross-In-Hand school site, this does not necessarily mean your child will be admitted into the school on reaching school age. Attending the pre-school does not mean that your child will have to attend Cross-In-Hand school.
Please contact the pre-school for an application form if you are interested in enrolling your child. The term before your child is due to start, you and your child will be invited for a taster session where you will experience the pre-school first hand.
