The TeamSenior Supervisor: Jacquie Fuller Supervisors and Senco: Jo Baldock and Liz Underdown Practitioners: Carol Edwards, Anita Saunders, Stacy Blake, Debra Brown, Lucy Jones,Sue Newman, Alison Foley, Richard Flowers and As guided by the Children’s Act, we work on a ratio of 1 adult to 6 children. Our AimsOur aim as a Pre-school is to provide high quality care and a safe and happy environment for our children, in which to learn through play. We aim to help our children prepare for their introduction into full time education. We provide a well-balanced programme of activities.
Management of childrenSheepsetting pre-school believes that children and adults flourish best in an ordered environment in which everyone knows what is expected of them. Staff are aware that their own friendliness, care and courtesy provide a positive model for the children. Care is taken to endorse desirable behaviour and unacceptability of misbehaviour made clear immediately by explanation and not personal blame. Visitors will note that we work hard to promote social skills, including the art of learning to share, showing kindness and being helpful towards other people.
